The outsole is low profile with traction zones under the drive points to provide an excellent feel on the mat.

First, my son loves the shoes. They fit very well, much better than the ones found at the big box store. He always had to upsize to get something wide enough. These were his regular size and fit great. I picked the Colt because they were breathable and figured the full length sole would provide a bit more stability for his large frame. I was super impressed with the look and feel of the shoe. They look well made, (his old pair fell apart after 3/4 of a season) and even the box they came in was impressive. I also contacted customer services because we needed them for an upcoming dual. They responded right away and shoes were shipped out same day. Thx
